On this day in 1954, the Supreme Court decides Brown v. Board of Education ruling “seperate but equal” established in Plessy v. Ferguson, unconstitutional in Linda Brown’s case. Linda Brown had attempted to enroll at Sumner Elementary School in Topeka, Kansas. The Supreme Court, implementing their ruling orders schools to integrate “with all deliberate speed.”
